Trimble just announced a very impressive rugged tablet computer with integrated GPS capabilities, called Trimble Yuma. Trimble Yuma has a 7″ sunlight readable display, solid state drive with 32GB of space, and 2 integrated cameras both of which are capable of geotagging.

Trimble Yuma runs Windows Vista Business, and meets MIL-STD-810F military standards for drops, vibration and humidity. Its IP67 rating means it’s impervious to dust and water and it operates in temperatures from -30 to 60 °C. Yuma can be mounted on a tripod or pole for data collection, or even secured in a vehicle-mount.

Qigi I6 - The Chinese Smartphone With GPS

Qigi can run Windows Mobile 6.1 or Android OS but it’s two different versions not dual os. The Chinese manufacturer calls the Windows version i6 Win and the Android version i6 Goal. That seems to be the only difference since the rest of the features seems identical as both versions.

Featuring GPS integrated, Marvell Monohans 624MHz processor, 2.8-inch 65k color LCD touchscreen, 2 Megapixel camera, WiFi, bluetooth and microSD card slot. Qigi’s i6 supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks, but without 3G.

NDrive S400 - A Handset With Built-in GPS

After NDrive S300, Portugese GPS navigation device maker just revealed NDrive S400, a Windows Mobile handset with an integrated GPS receiver as well as navigation software to go with it. Apparently it is one of those dual processor gadgets.
