GSmart S1200 looks really nice and elegant, having a chromed trim and a large WVGA display. It’s also quite slim, measuring only 105.5 x 52 x 11.4 millimeters. As expected, the S1200 runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and it’s upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5.

GSmart S1200 should be on sale starting the second quarter of 2009, for a price that will be announced later on.

Yesterday, HTC has announced the new Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone called Touch Cruise. It is the first mobile phone to offer HTC Footprints that takes geotagging a step further, allowing to to take notes and audio clips and embed them in a “postcard” of sorts, all still tied to that GPS location data, the cards are even auto-named by their location.

MOTONAV TN20, provides spoken street names and turn-by-turn directions, NAVTEQ 2D / 3D maps of the continental US and a 3.5-inch touch panel. The slightly more sophisticated MOTONAV TN30 picks up where the TN20 left off and adds in maps of Puerto Rico and Canada, four million searchable points of interest, a 4.3-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth handsfree support.
