The Acura RDX can be purchased with a technology package which features gps controlled temperature settings. The integrated GPS unit will detect the cars movement relative to the position of the sun. As the car moves further away from the sun the GPS will relay that info to the temperature control system. The heat or air conditioning will then react accordingly for the driver and passenger side.
The RDX GPS unit also performs in a more traditional way by giving directions. The function of the GPS in the RDX is worthy of a separate column. In brief it has a brilliant 8″ screen, is Bluetooth enabled, can support live traffic updates via the subscription service and you can enter addresses using the voice recognition system.
