New Sony HDR Series Camcorder Embedded With GPS

In this new year, Sony has launch 4 new high-definition HDD camcorders (HDR Series), the HDR-XR520V, HDR-XR500V, HDR-XR200V and HDR-XR100. All of them offer extremely long recording times with hard drive capacity of 240GB, 120GB, 120GB and 80GB but Memory Stick PRO Duo slot is also available like usually.
All camcorders excluding HDR-XR100 is embedded with a GPS antenna and NAVTEQ digital maps for video and photo geo-tagging. It also has Smile Shutter technology, Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround sound recording and 3.2″ touchscreen display. The HDR-XR520V and HDR-XR500V models are the first camcorders to use a back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor.
HDR-XR520V is priced at $1500, HDR-XR500V at $1,300, HDR-XR200V at $1,000 and HDR-XR100 at $750. All models will star shipping at March.
