The new Samsung S8300 will be ready on the stores at March 2009. It’s a slider phones with form factor 12.8mm thick and a 2.8-inch WQVGA 16 million AMODEL touchscreen. Featuring duralumin body with anti scratch and anti fingerprint coating.

Samsung S8300 offers 8 megapixels CCD camera with auto focus, built in GPS, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.1 and HSDPA 7.2Mbps. Already has 60MB internal memory and microSD slot. Sorry, no price at this time.

TeleNav, their GPS Navigator software product can be found on many mobile devices. Now they’ve taken that proven navigation software and put it on a sleek 4.3″ LCD two-way, Internet-connected Personal Navigation Device (PND) called the Shotgun, and just in time for the holiday season.

TeleNav Shotgun powers up quickly and obtains GPS & network connection within a few seconds. It has the standard options of Driving to or searching for a destination. You can view the Map & Traffic information for where you are and there is an Extra bucket for some additional features.

DeLorme Handheld Sports - Earthmate PN-40

DeLorme has rolled out its latest handheld GPS receiver, the Earthmate PN-40, built around a WAAS-enabled, 32-channel Cartesio GPS chipset by STMicroelectronics, as well as dual-core central processor.

DeLorme says the Cartesio provides immediate satellite acquisition and that its ConstantLock technology provides signal retention under forest cover and other environments where satellite signal acquisition is challenging. The PN-40 also features a 3-axis electronic compass, which the company says is usable while the unit is held in any position, and a barometric altimeter for altitude readings.

Garmin nüvi 510 Officialy Out Now

Nuvi 510 contains regional maps, one for Benelux, one for Italy and Greece, and another for Spain and Portugal. Its equivalent here would be the Nuvi 500 which costs $500 in States. Expect to pay about 300 € in Europe. Currently made only for European market.

Nuvi 510 has a 3.5″ touch screen, and a battery that can last upto 8 hours (manufacture said). It accepts microSD cards, can store 1000 locations, and is FM traffic compatible. Sadly, no bluetooth, mp3 or text-to-speech.
